  • KINDERGARTEN PLAYDATE 1 PM – 4 PM (KINDERGARTEN PLAYDATE AT THE PARK – Please join us for an informal get-together to meet fellow Marin School kindergartners and their families Saturday, August 15th from 1 to 4 pm at Terrace Park (on Terrace Street, between Tevlin and Neilson) in Albany. This will be a time when the incoming kindergartners can begin to meet the other children in their grade.)

  • KINDERGARTEN ICE CREAM SOCIAL 2 PM – 4 PM (KINDERGARTEN ICE CREAM SOCIAL – Another opportunity to meet your new classmates and their families. Sunday, August 23rd from 2 to 4 pm on the small play yard at Marin School. We provide the ice cream and fixins’; you just show up.)

  • WELCOME BACK PARTY 6 PM – 8 PM (WELCOME BACK PARTY– On Sunday, August 23rd from 6-8:00 pm, join a casual get-together in the Big Yard. This is an opportunity to say hello to friends you haven't seen all summer, join the PTA, check your Marin Directory entry, and get psyched for the beginning of school. Although the class lists will no longer be posted by the school, parents can exchange this information freely with others – we can build our own class lists! Look for updates via this etree, we may have a fantastic dinner buffet available!)

  • KINDERGARTEN MEET AND GREET 1 PM – 1:30 PM (KINDERGARTEN MEET AND GREET – From 1-1:30 pm on Monday, August 24th, the day before school starts, the kindergarten teachers will host a Meet and Greet for you and your student that will include familiarizing the kids with the classrooms. This is a great opportunity to introduce your children to their new teacher and classroom.)

  • KINDERGARTEN BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT 6 PM – 7 PM (KINDERGARTEN BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT – Kindergarten Back to School Night will be held from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 27th. This is an adults-only event, so please make childcare arrangements in advance. More details to follow once school begins.)
