AUSD families now have a new opportunity to learn about the performance of our schools that goes far beyond beyond what has previously been available.  Our AUSD community now has access to the California School Dashboard, a new website that uses multiple indicators to give a more complete picture of how our schools are serving our diverse student population. DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME BEGINS: Please remember to turn your clocks
forward one hour on Sunday, March 12th. We hope to see your child on time on Monday!

SPRING CONFERENCES: Conferences for 1st-5th will continue through Thursday, March 16.Students will be on an early release schedule: 8:30-1:45 for grades 1st-3rd and 8:30-1:40 for grades 4th &5th. Kindergarten schedule will remain the same. Kindergarten Conferences will begin on Monday,March 13, and continue through Friday, March 24. Kindergarten schedule will remain the same. Friday,March 17, is Staff Development Day, (school closed) and students will return to school on Monday, March 20, on our regular schedule. Please notify all your after school programs and childcare of the schedule change. Thank you!

SPRING CONFERENCES: 1st– 5th Grade Conferences will begin this Tuesday, March 7,and continue through Thursday, March 16. Spring conferences are for eight days only; therefore, notices to set up an appointment for a conference will be sent home to families where there might be a concern. Report cards will be going home with all other students on Thursday, March 16. Students will be on an early release schedule: 8:30-1:45 for grades 1st-3rd and 8:30-1:40 for grades 4th & 5th. CELEBRATE THE 100TH DAY OF SCHOOL, PARTICIPATE IN THE HUNDRATHON! 100TH DAY OF SCHOOL IS WED., FEBRUARY 8TH.
PTA’s 2017 Hundrathon is currently underway. Thank you all who have donated so far. The PTA’s goal is to raise $18,000 this year; it’s an important source of funds for all of the work the PTA does in our school.
