The Board of Education is sponsoring this public forum conducted by the contracted search firm Ray & Associates, to gather input on desired characteristics the new superintendent should possess. Patricia Contaxis will be building on talks she gave last year at Marin and Cornell on Understanding Your Child’s Development. She will briefly review the arc of childhood development from early childhood through adolescence and the important developmental tasks of elementary school age children. Patty will also talk about the developmental changes that will occur in adolescence and discuss best parenting practices, and how they change, from elementary school through high school.)
