  • PARENT ED NIGHT AT CORNELL - YOUR CHILD'S DEVELOPMENT 7 PM – 8:30 PM (You are cordially invited to our next parent education night on Tuesday, January 28th from 7 to 8:30 pm in the Cornell multipurpose room. Patricia Contaxis will be building on talks she gave last year at Marin and Cornell on Understanding Your Child’s Development. She will briefly review the arc of childhood development from early childhood through adolescence and the important developmental tasks of elementary school age children. Patty will also talk about the developmental changes that will occur in adolescence and discuss best parenting practices, and how they change, from elementary school through high school.)

Please, it would be very helpful if you could alert your Albany friends and neighbors. Topics for discussion: Kindergarten curriculum, childcare, and preparation. This is an adult event only. No childcare is provided.)

  • TK-5TH ENROLLMENT FOR 2014/2015 (TK-5 enrollment for the school year 2014/2015 begins on Monday, February 3, 2014. Enrollment hours at the Albany Unified School District office (1051 Monroe Street, Albany) are 8:30 am -12:00 pm and 2:00 – 3:00 pm. Fliers are available in the office.)
