    • INTERNATIONAL WALK & ROLL TO SCHOOL DAY (This is a great opportunity to create community and celebrate our health, the environment, and our school spirit. In the morning, each student can stop at a table by the office to get a sticker, pencil, healthy snack, and to contribute to a school-wide mode chart to see how we get to school.)

    • REFUGEE BENEFIT WALK-A-THON 1:45 PM – 3 PM (Halloween Walk-a-Thon, Saturday, October 31, 1:45 - 3 p.m. Starting point: Marin School. A group of Marin parents are organizing an awesome Halloween walk-a-thon to help raise vitally needed funds for several organizations responding to the international refugee crisis. This is a chance for our community to come together to teach our kids about this situation and the importance of helping others, while also making it fun. Sign-up and sponsor forms are available in the office. We are collecting donations for three main organizations -- International Rescue Committee, Save the Children and Kids in Need of Defense. You can donate directly online to the International Rescue Committee. Simply visit "diy.rescue.org" and enter "marin school" under "search for a campaign."
