Please bring a favorite dish from your heritage to share. Last names starting with A-G bring a dessert and H-Z bring an entree. GUEST AUTHOR, YUYI MORALES

(Guest author Yuyi Morales will be in our MUR on Friday, October 5th, at 7:00 pm. Yuyi Morales is a Caldecott Honor artist and five-time recipient of the Pura Belpre Award for illustration. Her latest picture book, “Dreamers”, is a personal account of her own family’s immigration experience, moving to San Francisco from her native Mexico with her American husband and their infant son. Don’t miss the chance to meet this captivating professional storyteller, dancer, choreographer, puppeteer and artist. Some of her most notable works include “Just A Minute”, “Nino Wrestles the World”, “Thunderboy, Jr.” and “Viva Frida”. Please join us!)
