Dear Marin Families,

Thanks so much to Familias Latinas and the PTA for working together to bring the Abada Capoeira group to Marin Morning this week! This was a wonderful way for us to celebrate Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month together!  And who knew staff had so many Capoeira skills?? Some students got to show off their skills as well!

I’m super excited to say that you may see Emma Berger, former Marin student, working on the Curtis St wall this week! While we were in temporary housing, our PTA put out a call for mural proposals and Emma’s was chosen. She’ll start this week, and next week all classes will get to visit the mural during their music time to provide some input on what she paints. Thanks to the AUSD Maintenance Team for preparing the wall, and to the Albany Education Foundation and the Marin PTA for funding this exciting project!

Check out our new website! We have upgraded our website while maintaining the same web address to make information easier for you to find and for better functionality on mobile devices. The switch will happen sometime this weekend.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Melisa Pfohl, Principal
