PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Dear Marin Families,

Our annual Moonlight Auction is tomorrow night!! This important event raises a significant amount of funding to support our students and programs, and I hope to see you there for a fun and meaningful evening!

As you may know, Albany's K-5 ELA Curriculum Adoption Committee has unanimously selected a new K-5 English Language Arts curriculum, Fishtank ELA, beginning next school year, which the School Board recently approved. We are excited that our students will engage with rich, diverse, and knowledge-building texts throughout the year!

As we prepare materials for classrooms, we’re looking for volunteers to help stamp books as they arrive in the coming weeks so they are organized and ready for teacher use. If you’re available to help, please reach out to me at mpfohl@ausdk12.org. Thank you for supporting our teachers and students!

See you tomorrow night!!

Melisa Pfohl, Principal
