PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Dear Marin Families,

Wowzers! What a week! Field trips, class plays, and a dance party tonight! This is the stuff memories are made of. Please do your best to support kids in resting up this weekend. The last week of school is lots of celebration and hoopla, and we want students to be able to enjoy it as much as possible.

All are welcome to join us on Monday morning at 8:30 for our annual AHS Senior Walk! You’ll see Marin Alumni and their friends in caps and gowns as they prepare to launch into their next chapter. Such a special time!!

With gratitude,

Melisa Pfohl, Principal

End-of-Year Dance Party

Let’s send the school year out on a high note! The PTA is excited to host a casual End-of-Year Dance Party for all students to celebrate their hard work and achievements. Join us on Friday, May 29, 6:00-8:00pm on the Marin yard for music, pizza, dancing, a photo booth, cotton candy, and fun with friends!

Share Your Perspective on Technology in AUSD Classrooms

We invite all Marin parents and caregivers to take a short survey sharing your perspective on how technology is being used in our schools. Your input will help inform an important district-wide conversation about how student learning is supported.

Click here to take the survey

The survey should take no more than 5 minutes to complete. Thank you for helping shape the future of learning in our community!

MARIN NEWS

Extra Clothes Needed in the Office

The office keeps some clothing for students who need to change clothes during the school day. We are in need of boy-leaning pants (no jeans) and underwear in sizes 4T to 10. (We have plenty of shirts and girl-leaning clothing.) Thank you!

Leaving the School District

If you are planning to leave Albany Unified School District at the end of this school year, you must officially dis-enroll to ensure records are properly transferred and the district can report your child's departure. Your child cannot be enrolled in two school districts at the same time. To dis-enroll, please complete a School Exit form as soon as possible so we can plan appropriately for next year. Please remember to return all library books and textbooks before the last day of school.

Support Albany Education Foundation at Little Star on June 1 & Every First Monday (July 6 & August 3)!

Supporting Albany Education Foundation is as simple as pizza night. Join us Monday, June 1, at Little Star Pizza, where 10% of all dine-in and takeout sales will be donated to AEF. This give-back happens every first Monday of the month—an easy (and delicious) way to support grants for Albany teachers. Mark your calendars for summer First Monday pizza nights at Little Star: July 6 and August 3.
