MOONLIGHT AUCTION - ONE WEEK TO GO!
It's almost here! Please join us on Saturday, April 1st from 6-10pm at the Veterans Memorial Building for theannual Moonlight Auction. Tickets are available for purchase at http://tinyurl.com/moonlightauction17 for $30/person through Friday, March 31st. Tickets will be $40/person at the door. Purchase your tickets and check out the catalog to plan what you'd like to bid on. We have some amazing items and fun sign-up parties. There are still ways to help the auction. We need your wine for the Wine Wall! You can bring a bottle you enjoy sharing with friends to the Moonlight Auction bin in the office. We also need volunteers to help with set up. California School Dashboard

AUSD families now have a new opportunity to learn about the performance of our schools that goes far beyond beyond what has previously been available.  Our AUSD community now has access to the California School Dashboard, a new website that uses multiple indicators to give a more complete picture of how our schools are serving our diverse student population. Luring Attempt AHS Male Student March 2017

Yesterday, an Albany High School 9th grade male student was walking home from school when a man in a brown 4-door older car approached him. The man tried to engage him in conversation by asking questions, and then he told him to get in the car for a ride home. This took place at the top of Washington Street near Albany Hill. DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME BEGINS: Please remember to turn your clocks
forward one hour on Sunday, March 12th. We hope to see your child on time on Monday!

SPRING CONFERENCES: Conferences for 1st-5th will continue through Thursday, March 16.Students will be on an early release schedule: 8:30-1:45 for grades 1st-3rd and 8:30-1:40 for grades 4th &5th. Kindergarten schedule will remain the same. Kindergarten Conferences will begin on Monday,March 13, and continue through Friday, March 24. Kindergarten schedule will remain the same. Friday,March 17, is Staff Development Day, (school closed) and students will return to school on Monday, March 20, on our regular schedule. Please notify all your after school programs and childcare of the schedule change. Thank you!

SPRING CONFERENCES: 1st– 5th Grade Conferences will begin this Tuesday, March 7,and continue through Thursday, March 16. Spring conferences are for eight days only; therefore, notices to set up an appointment for a conference will be sent home to families where there might be a concern.
