    • AUSD SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH 7 PM – 9 PM (You are invited to attend a public forum for the AUSD Superintendent Search on Tuesday, January 21, 7-9 pm in the Cornell Multipurpose Room, 920 Talbot Avenue, Albany. The Board of Education is sponsoring this public forum conducted by the contracted search firm Ray & Associates, to gather input on desired characteristics the new superintendent should possess. The Board welcomes and encourages all community members to participate in the public forum. Translators for Korean, Mandarin Chinese, and Spanish will be available. )

    • PARENT ED NIGHT AT CORNELL - YOUR CHILD'S DEVELOPMENT 7 PM – 8:30 PM (You are cordially invited to our next parent education night on Tuesday, January 28th from 7 to 8:30 pm in the Cornell multipurpose room. Patricia Contaxis will be building on talks she gave last year at Marin and Cornell on Understanding Your Child’s Development. She will briefly review the arc of childhood development from early childhood through adolescence and the important developmental tasks of elementary school age children. Patty will also talk about the developmental changes that will occur in adolescence and discuss best parenting practices, and how they change, from elementary school through high school. )
