Guest author Yuyi Morales will be in our MUR on Friday, October 5th, at 7:00 pm. Yuyi Morales is a Caldecott Honor artist and five-time recipient of the Pura Belpre Award for illustration. Her latest picture book, “Dreamers”, is a personal account of her own family’s immigration experience, moving to San Francisco from her native Mexico with her American husband and their infant son.
