Family Math Education Workshops
Promoting Achievement and Equity through Math for Students in the Classroom
The Black/African-American Parent Engagement Group, in partnership with the Albany Unified School District, is sponsoring a series of 3 workshops designed to engage families and support our students in their math learning. Math achievement gaps can be closed when we learn and work together! Come work with the Albany school community, classroom teachers and other professional educators as we support our students and their math education.
WHO: All families and students, pre-school through 12th grade!
WHEN: 6:00-7:30 p.m. Speaker and student hands-on workshops by grade level.
Wednesday Evenings:
- November 16th- Math Perseverance
- December 14th- Math Common Core Content
- January 11, 2017- Math Advocacy and Resiliency
