(earlybird/late bird) schedule for grades 1, 2 and 3.

Dear Marin and Ocean View FamiIies,
I hope this finds you all enjoying the summer! I look forward to beginning another school year and seeing you and your children on campus once again. I’d like to extend an especially warm welcome to new students and to our Ocean View (OV) Kindergarten students and teachers! We are hosting OV students while their school
is under construction, and we are elated to have them join us. My staff and I want to do everything we can to make OV families feel welcome and included in our school. Please know that all OV families and students attending Marin are welcome to join any of our school events throughout the year, and we certainly hope that you do. I am greatly looking forward to seeing our communities coming together.

We have a wonderful year of learning planned for your children! Due to state-wide budget cuts and decreased funding available to our school, we have put together a list of supplies that would be helpful to have for each child on the first day of school.
While your classroom supply contribution is optional, it is highly appreciated. Your supply donations support our classrooms so that our limited funds can continue to help our fine school programs thrive. If, for any reason, this is a hardship, the supplies will be provided by the school and/or our wonderful PTA.

ANNUAL RESIDENCY VERIFICATION FOR THE 2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR:

Per Board Policy, parents/guardians of students who are Albany residents, are required to verify their Albany address each school year (AR 5111.1). This year, address, verification will be April 1, 2019 – June 29, 2019. Your time is valuable and we encourage you to complete the address verification via email or through our new address verification website. The piloted website is also mobile phone friendly. Walk-ins to the district's Enrollment Center, located at 1200 Solano Ave, are also welcome. We encourage parents/guardians to follow the schedule below; however, we will accept your residency verification documents at any time between April 1st to September 11th. Last Names Beginning with the Letters: A-H (April 2 - April 30), I-P (May 1 - May 31), and Q-Z (June 1 - June 29).

If you wish to request that your child/children be transferred to a different school for the 2019-20 school year, please complete the AUSD School Change Request Form by March 30th, 2019. You must submit one form for each child you are requesting to transfer. Requests received after the deadline will be added to the waiting list, but will have a lower priority than requests received on time. To request a transfer, please complete the AUSD "School Change Request" form by clicking above on "SCHOOL CHANGE REQUEST".

SchoolCARE works incredibly hard to raise funds for Albany Schools and they are looking for your feedback.
