STEAM DAY CANCELED! As you know, STEAM Day is scheduled for tomorrow. This is a beloved annual PTA event that many of us look forward to, which is why I am sorry to inform you that STEAM Day is Canceled for this year.

DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME BEGINS: Please remember to turn your clocks forward one hour this Sunday morning, March 8th. We hope to see your child on time on Monday!

SPRING CONFERENCES: 1st– 5th Grade Conferences will begin on Tuesday, March 10th, and continue through Thursday, March 19th. Spring conferences are for eight days only; therefore, notices to set up an appointment for a conference will be sent home to families where there might be a concern. Report cards will be going home with all other students on Thursday, March 19th. Students will be on an early release schedule: 8:30-1:45 for grades 1st-3rd and 8:30-1:40 for grades 4th & 5th. Kindergarten schedule will remain the same. Friday, March 20th, is Professional Development Day, (school closed) and students will return to school on Monday, March 23rd. Please notify all your after-school programs and childcare of the schedule change. Thank you!

LOADING ZONE SAFETY: Please support our efforts to keep students safe by being mindful when you drop off and pick up your children. As signs on Santa Fe and Curtis indicate, cars cannot be left unattended in the white loading zone. Please take the extra time needed to drop off and pick your children up safely.

MARIN MORNING & COFFEE WITH PRINCIPAL PFOHL: Wednesday morning, please join us in the big yard at 8:30 am for our Marin Morning and immediately after, have coffee with Principal Pfohl.

MID-WINTER BREAK: School will be closed Monday, February 17th, through Friday, February 21ST, for our mid-winter break. School will resume on Monday, February 24th. Please note today, February 14th, is a regular schedule day.

OVERLOADED LOST AND FOUND: Our lost and found rack/bin is overflowing. Please take a moment to look through and claim any items that may belong to your family. Unclaimed items will be donated to a charity during mid-winter break. Please label your child’s clothing, bags, lunch boxes, etc.
